Sorrow and Loss: Helping the Bereaved in Navigating Life
Presented by Mary J. Lambrecht, M.S., LMFT

"The Grief Resource Center is a place where people can grieve their loss and move from hurting to healing," said Trish Anderson, executive director for The Grief Resource Center. "We have now partnered with Mary Lambrecht to host classes for licensed professionals needing CEU credit hours who want to learn more about the grieving process."

"For both professional and family members who care for the bereaved, this seminar will offer pathways to knowledgeably and compassionately introduce hope in the midst of grief," Lambrecht said. "I will provide current research, information, and practical guidelines in assisting the bereaved."

Topics covered in the "Sorrow and Loss" program will include:

Narrative and Play Therapy for helping professionals in assisting grieving adults and children
Family Roles, Rules and Rituals that impact the mourning process.

Mary Lambrecht is a Texas and Wisconsin State-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently works with couples, families and individuals at GracePoint Marriage and Family Center in The Woodlands, Texas. A dynamic radio personality, prolific writer and vibrant speaker, Mary has presented at state and national conferences on a wide range of mental health and spiritual topics.
