A comprehensive tool used to train support group facilitators in the field of grief and bereavement.

Our Facilitator Training Manual was originally modeled after the 1997 training manual used by The Dougy Center, the foremost authority on grieving children and teens in our nation, located in Portland Oregon.  By the time we held our first training session in 2000, we had incorporated two of our own  chapters, "God's Way of Grieving vs. the World's Way of Grieving," a chapter to better understand what the Bible teaches us in how we should grieve,  and "Taking Care of You," a chapter focused on preventing compassion fatigue, both vital components to our program.  Over the years the manual has been updated, expanded upon and developed further into a comprehensive tool used to train support group facilitators in the field of grief and bereavement.
